DESCRIPTION:Round Table Tasting # 1 – The Underrated 8’s:\nA Small Group Retrospective Tasting of the 98′ & 08′ Bordeaux Vintages\n \nWe are excited to announce the relaunch of a monthly small group series conceived earlier in our careers:\nThe Round Table Tastings:\nThese small group tastings will follow a traditional round table discussion format and be centered around small production, collectable, and library wines. The idea here to is examine and evaluate wines from equal but different perspectives, while drawing on knowledge from winemakers, industry experts and each other. Attendees can expect an evening of lighthearted conversation and discussion centered around a unique selection of thought provoking wines. Topics will include everything from single estates, to specific varietals, and even specific vintages. While more advanced in nature, these are casual events and are open to all levels of wine drinker. Tastings are expected to last around 1.5 hours.\n \nTasting introduction:\nWith our first Round Table Tasting, we will examine the underrated Bordeaux vintages of 2008 and 1998. Roughly 10 and 20 years removed from the fantastic recently released 2018 vintage.
