DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us for a pop-up tasting in the cellar, featuring one of Barolo’s finest: E. Pira and the legendary Chiara Boschis!\nWe are incredibly excited and honored that Chiara herself will be flying in and leading the tasting! \n\n\n\nChiara retains the honor of the first female winemaker in the Langhe, and though she came from a family of Barolisti, she braved incredible obstacles in the 1990s to earn that title. She is, by necessity, of unquestionable confidence, determination, patience and charm.  In 1980, the Boschis family acquired the E. Pira & Figli estate, thus procuring some of the most prestigious land in Barolo, and is recognized as the first estate in Cannubi to covnert to organic farming methods. Her unique combination of dedication charm, patience and determination was key in raising the quality and the image of the E.
