Join us for a pop-up tasting in the cellar, featuring one of Barolo’s finest: E. Pira and the legendary Chiara Boschis!
We are incredibly excited and honored that Chiara herself will be flying in and leading the tasting!
Chiara retains the honor of the first female winemaker in the Langhe, and though she came from a family of Barolisti, she braved incredible obstacles in the 1990s to earn that title. She is, by necessity, of unquestionable confidence, determination, patience and charm. In 1980, the Boschis family acquired the E. Pira & Figli estate, thus procuring some of the most prestigious land in Barolo, and is recognized as the first estate in Cannubi to covnert to organic farming methods. Her unique combination of dedication charm, patience and determination was key in raising the quality and the image of the E. Pira & Figli winery to that which it enjoys today.
When: Wednesday 2/4/26 – Tasting will start promptly @ 6:30 and last around 1 hr.
Format: Ticketed Sit Tasting (limited to 15 ppl)
