Catena Tasting & Blending Seminar – Tues 11/18

Join us for a night of high-elevation wine tasting. Catena Alta is the flagship collection from Argentina’s renowned Bodega Catena Zapata (founded in 1902), celebrated for it’s exceptional high-altitude wines. Sourced from select rows in the Catena family’s vineyards, their limited-production, single-varietal wines undergo meticulous selection and aging processes, resulting in complex, age-worthy expressions of Mendoza’s terroir.

Guests will begin by tasting the Alta Chardonnay and Cabernet while listening to the Catena story. Each guest will then receive five samples or as we call them, components of the individual wines that make up the Catena Alta Malbec. Catena ambassador Jorge will walk guests through the components teaching (and tasting!) them about Mendoza and how the different altitudes, soils, microclimates, effect the final blend. To end, we will showcase the famous Catena Zapata.
